Planned gifts are those made in the present and received by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, an archdiocesan parish, school, St. Francis Seminary, or Catholic Charities in the future. These gifts are often added to an endowment
fund to provide for the future support of the diocese or another archdiocesan
beneficiary. These gifts can be unrestricted in nature or directed to a specific program or purpose in the name of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee or another
archdiocesan beneficiary. Planned gifts are in many ways the culmination of
living a life of stewardship. Oftentimes donors will make a large cash gift or a
gift of long-term appreciated stock to establish a life income arrangement
such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust. |
