The Moxie Award was established and designed by Drug Free America Foundation, Inc. to honor individuals and organizations that make a stand to protect their communities from the harms of illicit drugs and abuse of legal drugs. The award has been aptly named the Moxie Award and it celebrates those who have shown:

• Knowledge of the scientific facts that prove the harms of drug use

• Courage in standing against the deceptive political campaigns that would persuade others to soften our drug laws

• Energy in combating the legalization of dangerous drugs in your community

• Determination to protect the children of our country from the slavery of addiction

For each person awarded a Moxie, Drug Free America Foundation will also fund drug treatment for a child in his or her community in the honoree’s name.
