The newly formed British Army Brass Band (BABB) has its inaugural concert on 18th November 2007, click here for details.
 
The Borough of Richmond upon Thames granted its Freedom to us on 20th September   It took the form of:
  • Parade and march through Twickenam   Freedom Parade to mark 150th Anniversary of music at Kneller Hall
  • Church service at St. Mary's Church 
  • Luncheon in York House for invited guests 

The Corps and Royal Military School of Music received scrolls and the Corps presented the council with a fanfare banner and a printed version of the especially composed fanfare.  This fanfare was chosen from many entries in a competition, with LCpl Evert Gibson.

 

Tromone player, Corps of Army Music Big BandThis fanfare was chosen from many entries in a competition, with LCpl Evert, Royal Logistic Corps Band, producing the best entry thus the winner of the fanfare competition.

He is also a member of the Army Big Band.

 

 

Royal Military School of Music Christmas Concert at York House Twickenham.  This annual event will take place on the 4th December 2007.  Tickets are available from the Council Offices, York House by:
