Colleen Carroll Campbel is an author, researcher, and presidential speechwriter. She will be featured at the second lecture series speaking on "Looking for the New Faithful" on Thursday, April 10, 2008.
A graduate of Marquette University, Colleen Campbell traveled the country researching and writing about a little-noticed trend that had attracted her attention: The appeal of traditional religion and morality among a growing number of young Americans. The result of her research was a book published to strong sales and critical acclaim, The New Faithful: Why Young Adults Are Embracing Christian Orthodoxy (Loyola Press, 2002). The New Faithful has been featured in nearly 100 magazines and newspapers.
Each lecture will begin at 7 p.m. at Alverno College campus in Wehr Hall in Milwaukee. |
