Adoration Program Reaches Milestone of over 20,000 Adoration Hours

On Sept 29, 2007 at the Don Bosco Youth Day at Holy Hill, during the time of adoration, the Traveling Monstrance Program reached 21,483 adoration hours reported to the Vatican. The Traveling Program features the last monstrance blessed by Pope John Paul II on Easter of 2005 just days before he passed away.

The Traveling Adoration Program was inaugurated by Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan on October 16, 2005, at the closing of the Year of the Eucharist at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. This was created to foster adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Adoration for Vocations. The Adoration Program has been visiting many parishes and schools since its inception throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

There continue to be wonderful spiritual responses and words from the people where ever the Monstrance goes for Adoration. And we joyfully give thanks to Jesus in the amazing Holy Eucharist through Mary our Mother. May Adoration continue to grow throughout the Archdiocese!!

The Traveling Monstrance Program remains available for parishes, schools, religious communities, and shrines throughout the Archdiocese. The Ambassadors for Adoration of the Rosary Evangelization Apostolate serves as the custodian and coordinator for the Program under the guidance of Archbishop Dolan.
