Eidos has gone IP shopping again and picked up the rights for erm, Eastenders. It's either a very stupid decision, or a bloody brilliant one.
According to MCV the British publisher has snapped up the game rights to the BBC soap opera, and it's reportedly being handled by Eidos' casual games division, which typically works on DS and mobile phone titles. It probably isn't a Mitchell Brothers first-person Kingpin-type shooter, then.
When contacted Eidos refused to comment on the rumour, though our imagination is already going wild.
An Ian Beale empire sim? Arthur's Harvest Moon? How's about an MMO in Albert Square?

Actually, we started off thinking it was a rubbish idea and now we can't bloody wait. We want to relive all the classic tea-time moments, including Frank running over Tiffany, Bepe's wedding photographer job and when Pauline went mental and threw the china around.
