We don't know whether to be disturbed or incredibly awed by this discovery; an Australian man has built a real, functioning (though not quite as deadly) Red Alert Tesla coil. That'll keep the Avon ladies from interrupting Neighbours.
The coil, built form a regular Tesla coil, cardboard and by the looks of it, a wheelie bin, was used to throw sparks at Engineers and Soviet soldiers. By the looks of creator Peter's boasting photos, this Tesla coil isn't quite as deadly as the one from the Command & Conquer games.
