Plone Foundation

Preferred license: GNU General Public License (GPL)
The Plone Foundation was formed in May 2004 to serve as a supporting organization for Plone. We are modeled after similar ventures, such as the Apache Software Foundation, and will be providing support for the development and marketing of Plone. In addition, the Foundation will be the legal owner of the Plone code, trademarks, and domain names. Our goal is to ensure that Plone remains the premier open source content management system and that we broaden its acceptance and visibility worldwide.
Actual source code produced by the student participants in Google Summer of Code™ for Plone Foundation can be found here.
