A language invented in the United States, made popular worldwide through cultural imperialism and internets. It is sometimes referred to by the misnomer "English language", an obsolete language that is one of several sources from which the American language is derived. Actually the history of the American language is very short: George Washington was so lazy he decided to remove letters from every word known to man. This is how colour became color and nuclear was transformed into nucular.
Whether referred to as English or American, this is not the language spoken on internets.
