Access and outreach
Providing greater accessibility to archives and reaching out to new audiences is an important and growing activity for archivists and custodians of collections.
In this section we cover the issues and legislation that have to be considered when developing access and outreach policies. We provide case studies, guidance and links to relevant websites that provide the most up to date information on the areas that have an impact on such policies. We also promote the accepted standards in the profession such as the Public Services Quality Group Access Standard.
