The resettlement service that the Army provides depends on the number of years served. Generally if you have served over 5 years you will be entitled to the full range of resettlement services, only the number of days that you can spend on resettlement will vary.

If you are completing 22 years service you can start your resettlement process 2 years before you leave.

  • 1st Line Resettlement - Unit Resettlement Officer (URO).
  • 2nd Line Resettlement - Individual Education and Resettlement Officer (IERO) at your nearest AEC.
  • 3rd Line Resettlement - Career Transition Partnership (CTP) Career Consultant.
