The Army Sports Lottery (ASL) is being overhauled, on the 10^th of Dec. There will be a number of new initiatives, including a revised prize structure (under review) and a new high impact, new look LOGO. A Random Number Selection Computer Programme is now used and is Gambling Commission compliant. Each weekly draw is also independently witnessed and is conducted in accordance with Gambling Commission rules and regulation on the conduct of small lotteries.

Results of the draw are published on the Army Website and distributed through a Signal Message to all Army Units. In addition, results are broadcast on Garrison Radios and published monthly in Soldier Magazine.

Unlike the National Lottery, there is no requirement to claim prizes; this is completed automatically on your behalf. You must ensure that your address
is correct; failure to do so may delay your winning cheque.

At present, only Regular Army personnel can join, although members of the TA, MSF and other categories may be able to join in the future.

Maj (Retd) D C Scott is final in all matters relating to the ASL policy and results.
