The memorial will be created in polished black granite as a backdrop to the existing obelisk. It will record a pictorial history of the AAC the roll of the fallen and the memorial will be dedicated at a Drumhead Service to be held on Saturday1st September 2007. The service itself will be a prelude to the Birthday celebrations.
The Salisbury Cathedral AAC Window:
Cathedral windows are known as “Lights”.

An AAC stained glass window is to be installed in one of the lights in the north aspect of Salisbury Cathedral. It will be mounted alongside an existing window that commemorates the Glider Pilot Regiment.
A service of dedication is to be held in the Cathedral in late 2007.
