Michael Sparough, SJ, is a retreat master, storyteller, writer, and spiritual director. As the director of Charis Ministries, an outreach to young adults, he has published extensively on prayer and the sacraments. He holds a master of fine arts in theatre directing from the Yale School of Drama and a doctor of ministry from St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. Fr.
