We have designed this tour to show you the royal India on your holiday trip in Indian sub-continent. Some days are quite busy, but we've taken care of plenty of free time for you to relax. There are only two long days, and we're sure you'll agree that the journey into the desert capital and the Taj city on day 6 is worth while. Many Indians don't eat non-veg, so vegetarians will find they're well looked after with a huge variety of interesting dishes at Choki Dani, Jaipur. Don't get exhausted by the bumpy rough roads as these treasure trove rides leads to some never exhaustible charms of India.
My visit to Rajasthan with Province Tour was amazing. Indeed, these people know how to take care of their guests. The visit at the Red Fort was really fascinating, but I was bit disappointed to see the empty grooves of Red Fort that once glittered with the precious stones as narrated by the guide. A walk at India Gate in evening was quite refreshing, because it gave us a good chance to explore the real flavour of India amidst hawkers and kulfiwalas. Long journeys in Rajasthan are usually boring, more if you are travelling in night. Luckily Santosh, our guide, entertained me with many interesting legends about love and war. The unlucky 13th day was lucky for me, because I got my palms painted orange with henna or mehendi, as they call it. I also shopped for colourful bangles for my sister Sylvie, thanks to the tour operators who provided us with ample time to roam around. I also liked the Marwari language and managed to know a couple of their words. Aao Sa and Baitho Sa, which means welcome and sit down in order, often heard all over Rajasthan. The camel ride at Jaisalmer gave me goose pimples first and then a chronic back ache. They said that it is because I am not used to the desert engine, perhaps. Lastly, I would only say that 'Golden Triangle Comprising the Three Jewels of India Tour' was indeed a memorable experience. Sarah Berlitz from Germany »
