Local Radio Program Sales

Listeners of ABC Local Radio in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart are able to obtain recordings of segments from local radio programs. Recordings are offered in either tape or CD formats and sell for $44.00 (cassette) or $52.80 (CD) for single segments

Coverage
The service is managed for ABC Content Sales by Media Monitors Australia Pty Ltd.

Procedures
Callers should have the following information on hand when calling the sales officer:

• The station and city on which the program or segments was aired
• The radio announcers name
• The segment topic, program name or name of the interviewee
• The day, date and time that the segment or program went to air.

The sales officer will then search for the item. The time taken to find the item will be directly related to the accuracy of the information given by the caller. Once the segment or program has been isolated a copy is secured and recorded on the callers choice of format (CD or cassette tape).

Recordings are normally dispatched within 14 days of receipt of the order and they can be paid for using money orders and all major credit cards
