WHATS NEW FEBUARY 2008:

STOP PRESS!! STOP PRESS!! STOP PRESS!! 08 FEB 08..

From the GSME Please note the following when administering Morphine 08 Jan 08:

1. If a casualty is already a T1 and has been administered Morphine as long as their injuries require them to remain a T1 then T1 is the correct Priority for Evac.

2. If the Casualty is a T2 and has been administered Morphine unless the injuries warrant his/her priority being up graded to Priority T1 the priority for Evac remains at T2.

3. If the Casualty is a T3 and has been Administered Morphine their maybe a requirement to upgrade the Evac priority to T2 but NOT to a T1.

Please ensure that you emphasise this when teach Morphine Drill 8
