La Boite Theatre Company is a contemporary theatre company with a long history of developing and nurturing young and emerging artists and giving Queensland stories, actors and designers a stage. La Boite presents theatre that is up close, in your face and in the round. The Roundhouse Theatre, the company’s fabulous new home in Kelvin Grove, continues La Boite’s trademark of intimacy and accessibility to the actors and action of the play. The foyer of the Roundhouse Theatre opens out to public park spaces, surrounded by contemporary visual art and large screen displays of work generated within the innovative Creative Industries Precinct. Think outside the square ... the Roundhouse Theatre and Rehearsal Room are available for hire.
