Mink rocks for a cause on headlining tour
The US/Australian group will play all but a handful of its outing at Hard Rock Cafe outlets around the country as part of the chain's March On Stage program. All proceeds from the shows will go to the Musician On Call program, which brings live music to patients in healthcare facilities.
The trek, which kicks off Feb. 27 in Cleveland, boasts 18 dates at Hard Rock outlets, with four additional shows not related to the alliance scattered through the band's schedule. All dates are below.
"We couldn't be happier doing this Hard Rock Cafe tour, in part because we'll get to play the songs off our debut album, but also because it's raising money for the Musicians On Call charity," lead singer Neal Carlson said in a press statement.
The band--which features New Yorker Carlson along with three Aussies: guitarist Nick Maybury, drummer Stella Mozgawa and bassist Grant Fitzpatrick--released its debut album last fall. The self-titled set was produced by studio vet Sylvia Massy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool).
