Jarrett Jack on the Town

For Trail Blazers fans, there were only two places to be on Friday night, July 20. If you weren’t at the Portland Beaver’s Grand Re-Opening or the Live Wire Radio Show’s live taping at the Aladdin Theater, you missed your chance to connect with Trail Blazers Guard Jarrett Jack as he made his way through Portland.

Jarrett Jack began his evening by joining the new owner of the Portland Beavers Merritt Paulson for a Grand Re-Opening Celebration at PGE Park. Jack threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the Portland Beavers vs. Tucson Sidewinders game. The event celebrated the beginning of a “new era” for the Beavers under new ownership.

Jack took some time to sign autographs and greet fans at the park before heading across town to sit down with the Oregonian’s Ryan White for an interview as a part of Live Wire, OPB’s one-hour radio show recorded in front of a live audience at the Aladdin Theatre in Southeast Portland. The show features live musical acts, interviews, sketch comedy and more.

You may have missed your chance to see Jarrett Jack live, but you can still catch the interview when it airs. Be sure to tune in to the Live Wire broadcast on OPB Radio, Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
