My name is Alan Walker, I'm a 28 year old business consultant who lives in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Dundas has been my home base for the entirety of my life. I held a secondary residence in Kitchener-Waterloo while I was studying Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

I am an active amateur radio enthusiast, callsign VA3AAL. I prefer windows as my workstation, linux as my server. I grew up in the age of BBS and the 2400 baud pstn modem. While I have some programming experience, my computer expertise is more focussed in the area of systems design and project management.

Politically I promote transparency of government. I seek different qualities in the municipal, provincial and federal politicians I support. I enjoy a good argument, but have little patience for opponents who strive to appeal to fear and greed as opposed to logic.

I am pleased that I have been able to make a difference in the Hamilton, Ontario article. Before snapshot.

• I introduced a City infobox, which I then filled with cited facts. Further, I was able to convince a local professional photographer to release a skyline picture under the ShareAlike license for use in the article.

• I have taken photographs for the sub articles which did not contain pictures. The pictures were released under ShareAlike on commons.

• I have included many cited sources in the main and sub articles in hopes of encouraging others to do the same, while preserving their existence against AfD.
