In Japan, there is a series of FF7 trading cards featuring many of the characters and locations from the game. My good friend Annie was lucky enough to get hold of the Jenova one, and has donated it to this site. Click the thumbnails below to view it full-size.

Jenova trading card - front Jenova trading card - back

And now, just for fun: Jenova meets Magic: The Gathering! After visiting Sir Hawkeye's Magic: The Animated Gathering and finding that the site had no Jenova cards, I decided to go wild and create a set of super-powerful cards featuring all the forms of Jenova. All these cards were lovingly crafted by me, and each one has a short description of what inspired its abilities. Enjoy!

#1: Jenova
This is a non-battle form of Jenova - it's intended to act as a "summoner" for the other forms. It's based on Jenova when she's in her chamber but is still in control and able to puppet people. Because of this, this card has a useful ability that lets you put "puppet" tokens into play, which act as mini Jenova-clones.

#2: Jenova*Birth
This card has an ability to mirror the annoying laser attack Jenova*Birth has in the game - for 1 mana, you can "zap" any creature or player for 1 damage. This card, like Jenova*Life, also gives you the ability to "puppet" your opponents' creatures and bring them under your control - an expensive but useful ability!

#3: Jenova*Life
Jenova*Life has water-based attacks in the game, so this card is blue. This form of Jenova is able to "puppet" your opponent's creatures and bring them under your control, and put other incarnations of Jenova into play.

#4: Jenova*Death (not finished yet - still looking for a suitable screencap)
Since Jenova*Death has fire-based attacks, it seemed sensible to make this form as a red card. This form is the weakest (like in the game) but has a few useful skills, namely the ability to power up Sephiroth and deal damage to any nonred creature.

#5: Jenova*Synthesis
Jenova*Synthesis has only one ability, but it's a very powerful one - it's inspired by the battle with her in the game, when she counts down from five before counting Ultima on your party. This card can do much the same thing: it gives your opponent five countdown counters, one of which must be removed in each upkeep. Once they run out of counters, they lose 10 life and you gain 10 life. Nasty!
