Former Trail Blazer Antonio Harvey returns to the Blazers Broadcasting team for a third season as radio analyst. He will be working alongside familiar play-by-play voice Brian Wheeler providing insightful commentary on the team, the NBA and the game of basketball.

Harvey played for the Trail Blazers in 1999-00 and 2000-01, averaging 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 31 games. He picked the Rose City as the place to raise his family after 10 years in the NBA.

Harvey went undrafted, but saw action with the L.A. Lakers, L.A. Clippers, Vancouver, Seattle and Atlanta, as well as Portland before retiring in 2003.

Since then, he has focused on engaging young athletes in the game of basketball while mentoring them on life skills, work ethic, discipline and teamwork. Harvey supports several local charities including Trillium Family Services and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A native of Pascagoula, Miss., Harvey is a graduate of Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, where he majored in sociology and minored in psychology.

In September of 2006, Harvey returned to his native Mississippi, where he joined Travis Outlaw, Northwest Medical Teams, the Harvey Family Foundation and several other professional athletes to coach thousands of students on how to cope with adversity in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Antonio and his wife, Kim, have two children, Aryana and Kameron.
