  • Continuity: The first time Norbit is waiting for the mailman, the mailman has a large red envelope mixed in with the letters, in the next shot, there is no red envelope.

  • Continuity: Norbit's glasses change position when the dog is talking to him.

  • Continuity: The car doesn't always lean to the left when Rasputia is driving.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Rasputia is driving with Norbit on the lawn to run over the dog, there are tire marks on the lawn in front of the car (in the shot from above looking down on the lawn).

  • Continuity: In the Italian restaurant, the door behind Rasputia alternates from slightly open to completely shut between shots.

  • Continuity: When Norbit is in hospital there is one scene where his hand is actually Rasputias hand, with red nail polish and long fingernails, but in the next shot it goes back to being Norbit’s normal hand.

  • Anachronisms: When it shows Katie and Norbit getting married as children, it shows them holding ring pops. However, ring pops had not existed around that time period.

  • Continuity: Norbit's position changes after being pushed to the ground by Rasputia, when trying to pick her up in the beginning.

  • Continuity: After Norbit crashes when learning to ride the bicycle, Kate comes up to talk to Norbit and the bicycle is lying on the ground. Without any lapse of time she helps Norbit up from the ground and the bicycle is leaning on her.

  • Revealing mistakes: Obvious body suit when Rasputia and Kate are sitting and talking at the water park.

  • Continuity: Norbit crashes his bike and he has a leaf in his hair. The leaf appears and disappears while he is talking to Kate.

  • Continuity: The potato head of Kate gets completely dissolved by Rasputia, but later in the basement, it's only slightly worn away by the acid.

  • Factual errors: When Rasputia gets in the bath the amount of water that is displaced is not proportional to the amount of water in the bath.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the scene when the twins are beating up on Norbit,the first shot shows them pushing his real face into the sand and the next shot shows them punching on a overweight dummy.

  • Continuity: When Kate meets Rasputia for the first time at the town picnic, the donuts Rasputia put down in front of her are stacked on top and on the sides between shots.

  • Factual errors: Near the end of the movie, a close up of Rasputia has a Tennessee Post Office in the background. However, the zip code begins with an "8" which would indicate the Post Office is in the Southwest. All zip codes in Tennessee start with a "3"

  • Continuity: Norbit calls the dog "Lloyd" but the credits list his name as "Floyd".
