Amargosa Desert

The Amargosa Desert is located in western Nevada, USA, along the border with California. The valley lies at an elevation of about 2,600 - 2,750 feet, and includes the community of Amargosa Valley, which lie at the southern end of the desert. The Amargosa desert lies between the Funeral Mountains on the west and Yucca Mountain and the Nellis Air Force Range to the east, in Nye County.
