Center medallion:
R 2ds 5p's sep. by 2ds 2ds CL RW
CH 3ds p 3ds p 3ds p 3ds Rw
Make center medallion of 8 rings and chains.
If your not familiar with the Medallion, Click Here to see how it constructed.
Work the same for border, except only 6 rings and 5 small chains. And do not close the medallions.
Start the medallion and after the six ring, DNT and start the long Chain.
(On the long chain, pull your first half up a little tight on the needle, so when you connect to the center and work your other half they come off shaped, try not to pull to hard on the chain as it may pull the ring to tight also. You will notice the inside chains are just the opposite of the small chains made.
LCH 4ds p 4ds p 4ds p 4ds p 4ds + (to center P of chain on medallion) . Come back up same on other side. 4ds p 4ds p 4ds p 4ds p 4ds DO NOT TURN
R 2ds 5p's followed by 2ds each 2ds Cl rw
Ch 3ds p 3ds p 3ds p 3ds Rw
Work around for 6 rings and 5 chains. Then the long ch, again.
Start making the next medallion of 6 rings and join the long chain on center p of next small chain on center ring.
Medallions will be joined to sides of the previous chains, on the center P of the first small chain.
Continue around for 8 unclosed medallions and attach last medallion to first and chain to other side of first one made.
