IMCOM-Europe Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) demonstrates the Army's commitment to caring for those who serve our nation by offering services and programs that reduce stress, build skills and self-confidence, and foster strong esprit de corps.
Services
MWR offers a wide variety of quality-of-life activities, events, programs and services for Soldiers and families. MWR provides support services, from child care and and before and after-school programs to youth and teen centers; deployment and family readiness assistance; relocation counseling; career assistance; financial management and consumer advocacy; and a range of family support programs. MWR recreational activities include sports and fitness; outdoor recreation; hunting, fishing and sport shooting; golf and bowling; libraries; restaurants and clubs; community theater programs; entertainment, concerts and special events; and a variety of do-it-yourself activities in auto skills and arts and crafts centers. MWR even helps you save money with a tax relief program.
