Finding the latest documentation

We had a question the other day asking how you know if you have the latest version of the Operations Manager documentation. The easiest way to do this is to get to the documentation from this page:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/opsmgr/bb498235.aspx

This page lists all documentation along with the publish date, so you can compare it with any copies of the guides you've downloaded earlier.

This side is NOT updated. The SQL MP Gudie is from 27 Mars 2007 and there have been a least 2 updates to the MP Guide since then. If you download the latest web release of the SQL MP you get updated MP (Mars 6 2008 release date on MS Download).

Same story for the AD MP Guide.

This web page just adds confusion, as a customer you think that a offical Microsoft page have the correct information.

That would be the best place to look but unfortunately it appears that this page is not updated and links to older versions of the documents.

Thanks for the feedback on the site. We're working to resolve the problem.

In the meantime, for Management Pack Guides, please use the packages in the System Center Management Pack catalog (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/scp/opsmgr07.aspx?SCPProdID=3) as the authoritative Management Pack guide source.
