This idea you can decorate your cards or notepaper with tatting, by gluing. This is just one example, but remember your only limited by your own imagination. Add butterflies, flowers, hearts whatever. This Delphinium was made by doing the leaves and flowers with needle and thread method.
Leaves:
R 6ds p 1ds LP 1ds p 6ds - leave about 1" thread 6 p 3ds p 1ds p 3ds
The bottom flower:
1ds 8p followed by 1ds each cl and do other half with same amount tie and cut ends.
next 1ds 6p followed by 1ds each cl do other half.
next 1ds 4p followed by 1ds each cl do other half
next to top Ring of 8ds each side.
Top ring of 5ds
Lay out on paper first to get idea how you want it on card. Cut green thread for stem the length you will need. Using a glue that will disappear, (I use a stick glue, by Avery that dries clear.) Lay thread in shape desired, glue back of leaves, and place in desired shape. Align flowers up stem as desired. Hide top of thread with small flower.
