| Portal is a new single player game from Valve, creators of Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has earned over 15 Game of the Year Awards and offers gamers hours of unique gameplay.
The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life 2’s Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.
Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.

| I bought portal through my steam account a while back. Good idea putting it out on its own. I was tempted to buy the O.B. but just never really liked Half-life of team fortress so passed it up. One thing i thought would be great is valve came up with a muti-player deathmatch type game where the portal device/gun could be used. Anyway if you like a challenge check this out. |

| Yeah this game rocks. I have it and love it. Portal being sold as a single game isn't so new though. If you already have a steam account, you can buy it seperately already. But yes, this is a must have if you like FPS and puzzle games. |

| i was so glad when i found out that it was coming out by itself. Ive always wanted Portal but i didnt want the other games that came with it in orange box. when it comes out, im definitly getting it. I was told by someone who has gotten it through orange box that it was awsome. |
