The University of Toronto Press Inc. (or UTP) is a publishing house and an independent division of the University of Toronto that engages in academic publishing. The press was founded in 1901 to print university examinations and calendars, and to repair library books. In late February 2006 it was announced that the press was selling off its printing division. Its head office is located at 10 St. Mary Street, Suite 700, Toronto.

There are several divisions at the Press. Scholarly Publishing is responsible for the editing and publishing of scholarly books as well as reference works such as Canadian Books In Print (until 2006), Canada Who's Who, and the Dictionary of Canadian Biography (with Laval University).

Another division of UTP is the Journal's Division. Several journals are owned by the Press, including Scholarly Publishing, and editing, production, and management services are provided for other Canadian scholarly journals.

The college bookstores are also operated by the University of Toronto Press, including a computer shop at the main bookstore. A Printing Division operated until 2007, and the Press maintains digital printing services on the campus. Finally, a book distribution division provides fulfillment services for UTPs own books, as well as for several dozen other Canadian and international publishers from a warehouse in north Toronto.
