Diandra Newlin (born March 4, 1991 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American actress, singer, and fashion model.[1]

Born in 1991 to Jim and Donna Newlin, Diandra Newlin grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Her father is a product manager for ChemTreat Inc., and her mother is a registered nurse and SAG actress. She has an older brother, age 19, named Colin Newlin, who is also a SAG actor and Director. Diandra spent five summers in New York City from 1997 - 2001 modeling with Wilhelmina and Product Models, doing commercials, and making her debut into movies. Diandra has been in hundreds of International magazines and ads; her most famous gig was being on the Easy Bake Oven box..[citation needed] After 2001, she began spending her summers in Hollywood.[citation needed] What began as a hobby took a turn toward serious acting when she booked the recurring role as Angel Girl on NBC's soap opera Passions. She currently is represented by LA Models for modeling and by Coast to Coast for commercials and theatrical. [1]Her current acting managers are Susan and Cami Curtis.

She lives in Marina Del Rey, California and is a National Honor Society student in her final year in the college prep independent study program at Laurel Springs School.[citations needed]In October 0f 2007 she passed her CHSPE test and earned her High School Proficiency Diploma.

Diandra has studied music with both Bob Marks in New York City and Seth Riggs in Hollywood.[citation needed] She spent some time at the Hollywood Pop Academy and has sung at the Young Artist Awards, Universal CityWalk and on Good Morning America.[citation needed] Her singing credits include the role of Baby June in the musical Gypsy with Lorna Luft.[2] at the University of Richmond. She co-writes her own songs, two of which have been included on a compilation CD by Infant Records. Diandra wrote and worked with Roy 'Royalty' Hamilton formally of Capitol Records, and now with Warner Music, for 3 years. She is currently working with Drew Lane, from Silent Chaos Productions , on new music. She has just finished filming a music video for an upcoming single.

Diandra has guest starred on Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She also was a supporting actress in the motion picture Loving Jezebel by Universal Pictures at the age of eight. She is a co-star in the soon-to-be-released motion picture Dreamkiller.[3] Diandra has also had roles in the films G.I. Jane, Hush, Pootie Tang, Hearts in Alantis and Mickey.[4] Diandra has acted in many national commercials and in music videos for Faith Hill’s "Cry" and the Jonas Brothers’ "Year 3000". She has been nominated for Best Youth Performance as a Young Leading Actress for her starring role in the film BENCH at 2008 Young Artist Awards.
