Primer Impacto (First Impact) is a Spanish language television news program broadcast by Univision in the USA, which airs two episodes during the day; an hour-long edition in the afternoon at 5pm ET/PT, and a condensed half-hour version at 11pm ET/PT (Primo Impacto Extra), which airs on Univision affiliates without a local news department (and the national cable feed), and leads into the network's 11:30pm newscast, Ultima Hora.

The hosts are Barbara Bermudo and Fernando Del Rincón. During the weekends the hosting job alternates to Satcha Pretto and Ilia Calderon. On November 26, 2006 the previous co-host, Veronica del Castillo, announced at the end of the show that she would be leaving the show to act as Primer Impacto's primary correspondent in Mexico. On March 8, 2007 it was announced on El Gordo y La Flaca that Colombian born Ilia Calderon has taken over Lourdes' spot on the weekends as the new anchor, effective that coming weekend of March 10th and 11th.

Regrettably, Veronica's announcement and departure were over-shadowed by sad news earlier in the day of the death of Raúl Velasco, the well liked Mexican host of Siempre en Domingo. That day's show was one of the first to pay an hour of homage to Raúl Velasco's life and impact on Latin American show biz industry.

The show started in 1992 as Noticas y Mas and in 1994 became Primer Impacto with Maria Celeste and Myrka Dellanos. In 2002, Barbara Bermudo replaced Maria Celeste a couple of months after Maria had her new child and left the network for Telemundo's "Al Rojo Vivo." Fernando Del Rincón arrived in 2004. Carmen Dominicci also came to the show in 2002. In 2004, Myrka Dellanos left the show due to missing too much time and then in 2005 Carmen Dominicci left, but she comes back from time to time, and were replaced by the current hosts. Walter Mercado has provided the flamboyant horoscope predictions for a number of years. Jackie Guerrido does weather on weekdays and Paola Elorza does weather on weekends. Rosana Franco, Fernando Fiore, and Félix Fernández alternate in doing the sports. On Thursday's Argelia Atilano is on with movie reviews.

Ocurrio Asi was the former competitor to Primer Impacto, but with Maria Celeste's introduction, the news show was canceled and Al Rojo Vivo was created with Maria Celeste as producer and host, since then some other former Univision cast had went to Telemundo, most notably former Noticiero Univision host maria Antonnieta Collins.
