Martha Elizabeth Newberry was born on October 11, 1929 and was murdered in 1957 three weeks after her sister Janet Newberry by an unknown killer. Martha was the oldest of the Newberry children, born to Richard Newberry and Eleanor Kendy-Newberry. She had Janet as a younger sister and a younger brother, Henry Newberry. She was found stabbed to death in her home while her husband was at work and her children were with her mother, Eleanor. The police believe that both Janet and Martha were murdered by Marcus Ross. Ross held a grudge against the Newberry family for years but would he kill them both because of it? The police were not sure and Ross died in 1972 at the age of 75 of a heart attack.

Martha graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1947.

Janet Newberry Janet Newberry was born on December 14, 1932 and was murdered on Tuesday 10, 1957 a few days short from her 25th birthday. Janet was found stabbed once in the back barely missing any vital organs but was thrown out of her third story apartment window. Like her sister, Janet graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1950.

Henry Newberry Henry was the youngest of the Newberrys and was born on June 1, 1937 and last one to die after the murders of his sisters, mother, and father Henry left town and went to Las Vegas but in 1960 the killer traced him down and shot him to death in his hotel room. Henry graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1953
