[edit] new parameter

Well folks, I got sick of trying to design a front page with multiple fixed-width boxes, which is just impossible. So, I went to all the trouble of learning how to do parameters - not easy if you are reading Wikipedia programmers - they need a tech writer I think - and now this box has a parameter on this width. You can get this by enclosing the name with a |number after it in double braces. If you don't want the adjustable width, leave off the number and it defaults to 200, px that is, just the way it was. Medieval greek language starts 1100 CE and end near 1700 in a period of intense cultural changes. Your dates are out of context--Kalogeropoulos (talk) 16:18, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
