Fowler is a small town in Fresno County, California, United States. Fowler is a small community located in the San Joaquin Valley approximately 5 miles south of Fresno. Fowler still remains a small town (2 miles), set in the midst of lush grape vineyards and farmland.

Fowler was incorporated May 26, 1908. The community was named for rancher Thomas Fowler, early 1870's California state senator.
