Test Drive the Arts

 

If you haven’t been to the arts in a while – or ever - take a look at this exciting program just for first timers like you. It’s called Test Drive the Arts and it’s the perfect way to try-before-you-buy.


Be a special guest, along with your partner or a friend, at a fabulous performing arts show.


You can choose from a kaleidoscope of shows from Queensland’s leading performing arts venues and artistic companies. Test Drive will offer something for everyone. From contemporary music to opera, modern dance to classical ballet, drama, comedy and more.


Already in the short few months since the Test Drive program was launched in late 2007 more than 1,100 Queenslanders have received tickets to Test Drive valued at over $40,000.

 

And now Test Drive is bigger and better than ever for 2008 – with new venues and companies, more performances and more choice for you.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria may be a little different depending on the Test Drive special offer you are considering.

 

To make things easier there is a general ‘3 year’ rule of thumb which applies to Test Drive offers.

 

If the offer is from a participating performing arts company (eg Queensland Ballet), and you haven’t attended a performance by that company in the last 3 years you should be eligible.

 

If the offer is from a participating performing arts venue (eg QUT Gardens Theatre), and you haven’t attended a performance at that venue in the last 3 years you should be eligible.

 

The individual performance details listed on the Test Drive the Arts website will detail any specific eligibility criteria that apply.
