Henry Gilford Picard (November 28, 1906 – April 30, 1997) was an American professional golfer.
Picard was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and learned to play while caddying at the Plymouth Country Club. He was a leading player on the PGA Tour in the 1930s and won two major championships, the 1938 Masters Tournament and the 1939 PGA Championship. Picard ("Pick" to friends) played on both the 1935 and 1937 Ryder Cup teams winning both singles matches and one of two doubles. He was pro at CC of Charleston, SC, 1925-34; Hershey Country Club, Hershey, PA from 1934-1941; then moving to Twin Hills G & CC, Oklahoma City, OK. Other professional positions include CC of Harrisburg, PA; Canterbury GC, Cleveland, OH; and Seminole GC, Palm Beach, FL. He retired in 1973. He died in Charleston, South Carolina in 1997. He was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in April 2006 and inducted in October that year.
