Rakesh has started the GNOME Kashmiri Translation Team. He is in the process of doing the initial groundwork before starting the actual onslaught.

If you happen to know the Kashmiri language, then I am sure you can lend a hand.

A couple of months back, I had written about Rakesh's attempt at translating MoinMoin to Hindi. As of now 27% of the strings have been translated, and he plans to score a half-century by next week.

If you know Hindi, you can head over to http://master.moinmo.in/MoinI18n/hi and lend him a hand with the translation work.

Over the past few days Rakesh Pandit has been translating MoinMoin into Hindi. He is absolutely new to localization and he is actually learning on the job, and is being helped by Alok Mishra.

For those of who do not know Rakesh, he is one of the successful Google Summer of Code 2007 participants and worked with the GNU Project. By some stroke of luck he also happens to be by classmate and very good friend from college.
