The '''British Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association''' (Irish: ''Cumann Lúthchleas Gael An Bhreatain'') or '''British GAA''' is one of the boards of the GAA outside Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic Games in Great_Britain. The board is also responsible for the British Gaelic_football, Hurling, Camogie and ladies football teams. London compete in the All-Ireland_Senior_Hurling_Championship (as part of Ulster) and NHL in hurling, and in the All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship (as part of Connacht) and NFL in Gaelic football. Since the reorganisation of the hurling championships into 3 tiers, London now play in the tier 2 Christy_Ring_Cup, while Warwickshire enter the tier 3 Nicky_Rackard_Cup. ==History== The history of the London branch of the Gaelic_Athletic_Association (GAA) dates back to the 19th_century. Sam_Maguire started his career here. The old Wembley_Stadium has played host to a number of football and Hurling games, the first taking place in 1958. ==Counties== *London_GAA *Warwickshire_GAA *Gloucestershire_GAA *Hertfordshire_GAA *Lancashire_GAA *Scotland_GAA *Yorkshire_GAA ==External links== *Britain GAA *British GAA on Hoganstand.com *London GAA site *English clubs *Welsh clubs *Scottish clubs {{GAA League}} Category:Gaelic_Sport_Governing_Bodies
