What is it? An iceberg?

Yes. --32X 20:45, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
I think it's the best logo among all wikimedia projects. --NEMT 20:22, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Meaning of the Iceberg?

Shot in the dark here: does this submerged part represent the source and the above-water part represent the article/ secondary source? —Preceding unsigned comment added by CPRdave (talkcontribs) 22:00, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

I think it's intended to show that what Wikipedia has is just 'the tip' of the iceberg, and Wikisource has the whole thing for further reading. Octane [improve me] 24.11.07 1224 (UTC)

[edit] Impossible

Does anybody realise that this iceberg cannot float this way ? It would obviously tip over. → SeeSchloß 01:04, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes..you're right. I demand an explanation for this outrage! --NEMT (talk) 09:37, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Obviously it can float like this, because it is. Jecowa (talk) 21:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wiki-li-cious

Best logo yet. A clear description of Wikieverything/Wikiall/wikinfinity. W i(c)k e d ! ! !--Buster7 (talk) 05:07, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

What I see in the Iceberg logo is the location of the "real" information of WIkipedia...HIDDEN...UNDERNEATH...in the discussions, in the history, in the transition from edit to edit. Each article is a work in progress, sitting, waiting for the next editor to come along and add or embellish or change. If someone only reads the existing article, they have only seen and experienced the top of the iceberg. They have only scratched the surface. Below the surface lies a treasure waiting to be mined...5% above --- 95% below--Buster7 (talk) 22:53, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
