This bookmark is made with the two color method.
It can be done in different lengths, and colors. You can add different tassels also, like the JK tassel.
Cut off ball color you want for your rings, tie to color you want your chains to be, and work off ball. Bookmark using size 5 needle & size 10 thread. But can be done in any size thread, just keep working rings/chains for the length you desire.

Ch 3ds p 3ds pull tight
R 3ds + 3ds p 3ds p 3ds (attach picot to last picot on first ring) Cl
Ch 3ds p 3ds pull tight to Red
R 3ds + 3ds p 3ds p 3ds (attach picot to last picot of second ring) Cl
Keep working the Ring and Chain until you reach desired length.
Once you have your desired length, make your last Ring and start a long chain:
Ch 3ds p 3ds p 3ds p 3ds (First long chain for top)
R 6ds + 6ds (this picot is added to the second picot of the last ring made, you can also make it a regular ring with 3 picots if you desire. You would do(3ds p 3ds + 3ds p 3ds)
Ch 3ds p 3ds p 3ds p 3ds Cl (second long chain for top)
R 3ds p 3ds + 3ds p 3ds (This center picot is attached to the center picot of last ring and center picot to the next to last ring made.
Ch 3ds p 3ds
R 3ds + 3ds + 3ds p 3ds ( attach to last picot and to middle picot of third ring back)
Continue making Rings & Chains attaching picot to last ring and the next ring on bottom.
