Square doily, approx. 5½ x 5½ made with # 5 needle and # 10 thread. Was made in three rounds, as it would take a lot of thread for a continuous round, but can be done if your use to using that much thread. Can be made with split rings.
The JK was made using a split chain effect. These are easy to do, but can be left out if desired.
(To make the JK chain you have to un-thread your needle, turn the eye of the needle up and use the needle thread to make the chains. Once you have the amount of JK you need, poke the eye of the needle in the base of the previous round by the small ring to make the join. Re-thread the needle and pull it through the JK. This brings your thread back up to to the LR, and locks the chain at the base. Rw and your ready to start your next Ring.)
LR=Large Ring SR=Small Ring DS=Double Stitch Ch=Chain P=Picot VSP=VerySmallPicto RW=ReverseWork Cl=Close DNT=Do not turn JK=Josephine Knot(JK is just making one half of the DS repeated as many times as needed to make a chain.)
