KNICKS POETRY SLAM FINALS REWARD HOTTEST YOUTH POETS: The Knicks hosted their fifth annual Knicks Poetry Slam Finals on February 26 at the Manhattan Center. Nearly 1200 people gathered to watch the top 15 youth poets in the New York City tri-state area compete for more than $30,000 in prizes. VAN BREDA KOLFF PASSES AT 84 Former Knicks player Bill "Butch" van Breda Kolff, a successful player and coach at the both professional and collegiate levels, passed away on August 22nd after a long illness in Spokane, Wash. He was 84.
