California's 52nd congressional district covers part of San Diego county. It is one of 53 California Congressional Districts. The current Representative for this district is Republican Duncan Hunter.

George W. Bush received 61% of the vote in this district in 2004; John Kerry received 38%.[1] The district voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger 72-24% in 2006,[2] Dick Mountjoy 50-46% in 2006,[3] Bill Jones 52-44% in 2004,[4] recalling Gray Davis 72-28%[5] and Schwarzenegger 66-17%[6] in 2003, and Bill Simon 58-35% in 2002.[7]
