She studied at the Pennsylvania_School_of_Industrial_Arts as well as the Pennsylvania_Academy under William_Lathrop and Hugh_Breckinridge. A member of the Philadelphia_Ten, a group of women artists, she exhibited at many galleries in New_York, including Grand_Central, the Whitney_Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy, and the National_Academy_of_Design. Swarthmore, Smith, and Dickinson_Colleges have her work in their permanent collections. She lived much of her life in New_Hope,_Pennsylvania.
