Looking for a specific trail?

The Trip Planning guide has information about trails on the Siuslaw National Forest, along with information about nearby campgrounds, picnic areas, and points of interest.

The Siuslaw National Forest has about 230 miles of trail. Many of our trails are low-elevation, easy-access trails located in a moderate climate for year-round hiking. These trails offer a chance to explore a variety of settings, from coastal forests to sand dunes.

The trip planning guide lists our trails and includes trail descriptions and some generalized maps.

Explanation of Trail Difficulty

Each trail in our guide is rated for difficulty. These ratings mean different things depending on if the trail was designed for foot use, for horse use, for bike use or for wheelchair use.
