Seasonal Closures: The estuary trail is closed during Plover nesting season March 15th through September 15th.

How to get there: 7 miles South of Florence off Hwy 101 mile post 198. Turn West onto Siltcoos road 1.5 miles turn left across bridge to trailhead on right side.

Nearby: Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Waxmyrtle, Carter Dune, Chief Tsiltcoos,Siltcoos Lake Loops, Taylor Dune, Lagoon Loop, Lagoon, Tyee, Carter Lake, Driftwood II OHV, Carter Lake Boat Launch

Trail Description: This trail borders the picturesque Siltcoos River Estuary, and ends at the beach. Outstanding views of the lower estuary, ocean beach.

Comments: Look for signs showing where snowy plover habitat areas are located. Please respect nesting birds’ privacy.
