Fotopic Plus and Fotopic Premium users are eligible to have their photos featured on our front page, as "Photo Of The Day".

We generally look for the following to be featured:

• Keep it topical - we look for photos which match the time of year and the season: if it's Spring, send us Spring pics. If it's February, then we'd like Valentine's photos! Be imaginative!
• We like photos with titles. Give it an imaginative name.
• Good quality images, at least 800x800 pixels in size. Grainy, out-of-focus shots will be binned; also no watermarking or overstamping please (if you're using Fotopic's own watermarking, don't worry - we can use the original file).
• Because of the way we use the images, landscape works better than portrait - although if the subject is in the centre it should be OK.
• We get absolutely swamped with photos of sunsets, trains and buses (and I mean swamped) so if you're submitting these be aware that we're looking for extraordinary images.
• Adult photos, potential copyright violations, glamour shots, screencaps, etc. will not be accepted.

Pick the right photo and you can look forward to lots of extra hits to your site. The following analytics graph shows a typical boost to someone who's not really had much traffic before:
