Conseil National des Centres Commerciaux of France

CNCC can be found at www.cncc.com

The Conseil National des Centres Commerciaux of France (CNCC or National Council of Shopping Centers) was created in 1983 for three reasons:

  • To promote exchanges between various shopping center professionals.
  • To provide representation of the fairly new but growing shopping center industry to various organizations/forums that influence public policy.
  • To defend shopping center interests.

The CNCC broadened its membership in 1990 to include retailers and a number of professionals closely associated to the shopping center industry, such as architects, real estate agents, members of communication agencies, etc.

In 1997, CNCC began collaborating with shopping center retailer associations and other relevant groups. This was done to provide better representation for all different players of the French shopping center industry, while stimulating exchanges among its members and reinforcing its lobbying efforts.
